Is it centered enough for a 10?

Photograph a raw card. Preslab measures its centering and shows how high PSA, TAG, BGS, CGC and ACE let it grade. Free.

System message

This estimate is from centering only. Corners, edges and surface are yours to check.

Five graders, five limits for a 10

CompanyFront, for a 10Back, for a 10How Preslab reads it
PSA55 / 4575 / 25Your measured ratios against PSA's own table.
TAG55 / 4565 / 35Converted to the way TAG reads a card, which sits further off centre than a ruler.
BGS50 / 5055 / 45Beckett's table gives the centering subgrade, and that is what Preslab shows. The final grade is at most half a point above the lowest subgrade.
CGC55 / 4575 / 25Your measured ratios against CGC's own scale, for a Gem Mint 10. Pristine 10 is never claimed from a photo.
ACE60 / 4060 / 40ACE's table gives a centering score, and that is what Preslab shows.

Centering is the only thing it measures.

What gets checked

Measured
Centering, front and back. Drawn on your own photo, so you can see where each line landed and drag one that sits off the border.
Yours to inspect
Corners and edges. You get a zoomed crop of each corner. Look for white dots and a lighter rim. We give no verdict on them.
Not assessed
Surface. Scratches and print lines do not show reliably in a photo. Tilt the card under a lamp and check it yourself.

That is why every result reads "up to". It is the ceiling centering sets, not a predicted grade.

The camera guide

A good photo is most of the measurement

Straight on. Card flat on a table, phone directly above. The level guide helps.
Dark, plain background. Matte, and showing on all four sides of the card.
Fill the frame. The closer the card, the finer the read.
Even light. Daylight or two lamps from the sides. No flash, no glare.
Out of the sleeve. A toploader still gets centering. A magnetic case does not work.
Front and back. One photo of each, in focus. JPEG or PNG.

A photo that breaks a rule is turned away with a reason, not measured badly.
